Netflix....
HaRuMaN:
More streaming / less DVDs means they can lay off some of their staff, too. More $$ for the CEO.
JeepMonkey:
I use the hard copy for new releases, and that is about it. Most everything else I get from streaming. The streaming only option sounds good, but they would have to increase options to include new movies and tv shows.
Mikezilla:
I tried but man, this particular manager was one of the biggest D Bags ever. I wanted to fist fight the guy. Ultimately I let it go, but was still irritated. Dont go to that one anymore. I wish Blockbuster didnt run out all the little mom and pop video store places. I like actually going to a store to peruse the titles and read the backs etc. Im a tangible kind of guy. All this streaming stuff leads to too many chances for errors.
Vigo:
I'm totally a tangible kind of guy as well. I wont ever buy an mp3, I have to have it on CD, even if all I do is sit and rip the CD. I miss the old video rental places as well, I end up going to Target just for ideas on what to rent.
Also, I know the demographics on this forum is on the hi-tech end. I could adjust to streaming if I had the correct equipment to play on to begin with. I really have to wonder how many customers they will lose that are not tuned to online streaming. I know my parents, even though they have Netflix and a Wii, would never use bother streaming. Not that its too hard, they would just never have the desire to do that.

What do you consider "the right stuff"? Can't you buy TVs and DVD players that have Netflix built in? Cheap DVD player and internet connection and you are up and running.
