If you know of an alternative speak up, otherwise please don't soil my post with rudeness. --- End quote --- I'm sorry... I did make a post and but in hindsight I thought I may be giving some wrong information. I couldn't find a delete button so I did the best I could. |

no problem, I missed the vanishing post and automatically jumped to the conclusion of a forum ---meecrob---, lol, sorry for a false accusation. It seem so many of these boards are overrun with immaturity and trolls that it's expected to be harassed when asking a simple question. |

They may not look like they did originally in the arcades. I thought better of my post because in fairness I don't want to seem like I'm criticising the product because it really is good at what it does. But when I bought mine I used it on an old 15KHz arcade monitor, not an LCD. |

Glad to hear it, I stay away from forums nowadays because of that, matter of fact, i had put off signing up here for about a month because I was worried about what would happen, lol. I appreciate the insight though. I'd gladly use a 27"+ arcade mon if I could get one in great condition for under 300, but alas, i think those days are over, so I will be using an lcd. plus, the weight, and ability to play consoles on it like a 360, epic, lol |

Well if you want to play PS3 or 360 games then that monitor will do the job well. But if you did decide you wanted to play 15khz games then there is always the option of installing a 29" television and using a RGB>Component converter to get native resolutions on your television. I've never done it myself but it seems like some people on the forum have had success. |
