OK, so last night I did all the wiring on my cabinet. Now, what I'm working on now is my second cabinet. Back when I made my first cab, I had never done any wiring before. So it was a learning as I went sort of thing. But I got it done and it continues to work great today. But although apparently functional, it's not the best execution. I'm almost embarrassed to post this picture on here, but I will anyway. Here's the wiring on my first cab, which I do intend to fix up some day... Wires everywhere! Then while I was having fun playing my arcade, I've also been watching this forum, and learning for about a year. It's just amazing how much you learn just watching others! Here's my wiring on my new CAB: I've seen some amazing wiring work on this site, and I know mine doesn't even compare with most of those. But its a marked improvement from the first time around, so I am very pleased. It's super solid and everything works great with it. Very good for me. But this just got me wondering if there was a thread on this forum where everyone posts a picture of their CP wiring? If not, there should be one. I love wiring pr0n :) So if there's an existing thread, let me know. Otherwise, if not, you should post a cp wiring picture on here! |

What are you using those terminal strips for? |

I have a LED Wiz, and all my buttons are illuminated. So that's how I am taking my 5v power and splitting it to all the 22 lights. Are there other ways of doing it? This was just how I learned, and it does work well at least. |

nice, but which one would be easier to rewire :D For illuminated buttons (simple always on) do you need an LED whizz or is the normal wires enough to light them |

There is a thread [here] with a couple of examples in. |
