Street Fighter 2 has SEVEN buttons, not SIX!?!

I'll post a picture tonight, after I get home.
Now, I need to warn you, if you are feeble of heart, brace yourself.
I am the proud owner of what the pundits here would label as a "frankepanel", so I don't know if it will cause you, too strong of an impression when you see it.  I assure you it is very docile and will not harm you.

This is probably the bazillionth thread covering this same question.   :dunno

The 2 popular choices are standard SF (either straight or curved) and 7 button SF/NeoGeo (either straight or curved).  If you go with 6 buttons and are concerned with NeoGeo, make sure you curve the layout so that the top 3 plus bottom left buttons make a usable NeoGeo 4-button layout.

For more info and TONS of pictures, you could try the search feature.  Btw, not trying to be rude, just helpful!

There.  I think the previous post, pretty much covers it.
My main button layout looks very much like this one, from that post.

Saved me a trip to the basement.
Erik:
yes I've read through that thread many times.  My issue is I don't like the way 7-button layouts look, but I like the functionality.  So I had hoped that someone had come up with a different 7-button layout that hadn't been posted in that thread.  Apologies to the new thread police :P

Sooo in a different direction, it seems like 6 button layouts would have to be extremely curved to be comfortable with all 4 NG buttons.  Do you guys find that's the case?

I'm looking at this one as an example with a natural curve.  It looks nice but I'm imagining would be cumbersome to play:

Would you ever get used to the A+B being so vertically stacked?
