Vigo's SNES. Classic console gaming on any TV.
Mikezilla:
Seriously. I havent even heard from Vigo in quite awhile.
atomikbohm:
Maybe Vigo is "admiring his 'handy' work"

:laugh2: :laugh2: :laugh2: I think that it might have that kind of effect on people. I brought the machine over to a friend's house for play testing. He told me he wanted some "time alone" with the machine.
Let's just say I don't keep my video game goods out of my sight after that one incident where I lent my N64 controller with rumble pack to a friend, and got it back coated in a sticky substance. (true story) :puke

Just saying ... and kidding. UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE!!!! please
Vigo:
Howdy! I'm still here!
You could say I was busy admiring my handy work, but not in the way that you're thinking. ;)
My son was just born, so I was not only taking off of work, but I decided to stay away from computers as well. Vigo Jr. has been getting my attention.
Update coming soon, I promise!
Mikezilla:
Thats awesome man! Glad to see that youre back! Congrats on the baby being born! Start brainwashing him now!! :applaud:
Vigo:
OK, Update time...
I have been motivated enough to post a couple videos of this system in action. While I have not finished with the frontend design work, I have put up an instructable in light of the the contest that Donkbaca posted in the main forum. It does include a couple things that I did not even post here. Feel free to check it out!
http://www.instructables.com/id/Turn-a-Super-NES-into-an-All-In-One-Classic-Video-/
You need to have/make a free account in order to view all the pictures, but if you do, please feel free to rate my instructable. (Hint: I prefer the 5 star ratings the best ;D)
Also, as part of my instructable, I have uploaded a couple videos. I am reposting them here:
This is a video showing the game capabilities. Bear in mind that my frontend still needs a lot of touch-up.
Here is a startup shot, just to give a picture of how quickly it can boot up using an SD card for a hard drive. I also need to set the frontend to boot in a shell, so I bet it could run even quicker when I am done.
(I know I sound like a frickin' mouthbreather in this video. Before you start picturing that I look like a caveman, bear in mind that my face was stuck 1 inch from the microphone, and I am fighting a cold. ;))
