I used to use one before I went the wireless 360 route. --- End quote --- ps3 cable is usb but it can also connect to a computers blue tooth with the right software in place. the ps1/2 port usb thingy your talking about is exactly what i'm using im my CP i'm gonna add it to my CP so the port sticks out but i don't end up with an adapter hanging off my CP |

--- Quote from: clickaus on November 08, 2010, 05:48:35 am ---Hey Guys I am just about to start work on my first arcade but I need some advice on the amount of buttons I should have for each player. I am building a 2 player cab and looking at running multiple emulators with MA or Hyperspin. My question is will having only six buttons for each player limit the amount of games I can play. I see alot of machines with seven and a few with eight is this because of a certain emulator needs the extra buttons. Thx in advance --- End quote --- The most buttons I have ever used is six and that is for super nintendo emulation. Don't overdo it. I am putting 4 buttons each on my bartop and it will be enough for any game I want to play. I have 6 buttons each on my upright but I wish I had only put in 4. The extra 2 buttons just get in the way of where I want to rest the side of my hand. I find 4 buttons arranged exactly like the 4 left-most buttons in the following diagram to be the most most comfortable. I use my pointer finger, middle finger, and thumb on the top two and bottom left button and I don't have any fatigue. |
