That's an old trick. Make the box smaller than the sandwich so's it looks like they's hookin' you up, yo! But the reality is, it's a smaller sandwich than it first was, and the onions were different. Remember, I'm talking about the "out of the gate 1981 vintage McRib". It was actually a permanent part of the menu for a while, but they canned it based on marginal sales numbers. If you like the things they are selling as McRibs today, you'd break into tears of joy if you saw the original. Ok, maybe that's a little extreme, but those who never had the pleasure really don't know what they are missing.
Still, even the current version is hard to resist. I'm probably going to hit one or two tonight for dinner. Here's to hoping they don't get stingy with the sauce! 8)

The best part about eating a McRib back in the 80s- the fact that you could eat it in front of the tv and watch actual music videos on MTV while waiting for Robotech to come on.

I dont think it is a lot different, I was born in 78 and had a few McRibs in my day. I dont think its as overcooked as it used to be (one reason I like the old one better) but I really cant complain for $2.50ish

Isnt that crap just the equivalent of cooked Spam? (this forum needs a puke emoticon)
