| NFL Blitz and other newer games in mame |

I agree. If you haven't bought a PC yet, you can get a 3ghz P4 for cheap, maybe even free, and it will play 90% of what you want to play. A lot of the games that are choppy are choppy not just because of a lack of horespower, but because the emulation on the games aren't perfect. SO if you do add the horespower, you will still have a choppy game. My advice is to check out MAWS and see what the status of the emulation is. If the emulation is still bad, a high powered system will not help you in running them. |

I run blitz flawlessly on my AMD phenom X6 1090T, 4 gigs of ram, radeon 5850 (not sure if this matters), normal 7200rpm hard drive. Pretty cheap processor, its under $300 |

Off subject, sort of. Does the N64 emulator work well with an 8 way joystick? I was only going to have emulators from my childhood, but NFL Blitz, NBA Show Time and Killer Instinct are games I'd want to be able to play on my cab. |
