Just updated mame to 0.140 how do I update MA for the new games? [solved]

I thought I just had to just check this:

configuration/mame/scan/force rescan of media folder

Am I missing something?

EDIT: For example, devil island now has 2 versions (1.4r and 1.0r) and I can only get one to list in MA

EDIT2: Think I solved it by deleting mame.dat and mame.lst from the preferences dir.
