seems awful open ended doesn't it??

cop: hi, mind if i look in your house??
you: uhm, i don't think so officer!
cop: i have reason to suspect you are a drug dealer, out of the way!

repeat for access to anybody's house. (1)

there seems to be a real lapse in simple human rights acknowledgement when it comes to the law, some pretty stupid stuff is being allowed to happen LEGALLY.

Note 1: may or may not be legal for the "everyman" consult your local authorities who will lie (2) to you anyway and give you the runaround and tell you it's not okay to barge into someones house without permission..

Note 2: authorities may or may not lie to you. be sure to consult your common sense (3) before deciding.

Note 3: common sense may or may not be right for you. consult your doctor to determine if common sense is right for you. results may vary. common side effects include but not limited to: realization of the truth, avoiding injury, and general good feelings of happiness.

If you are innocent, then you shouldn't be subject to this kind of search. Of course, the whole S&S thing with cars has always been a bit of a tug-of-war.

Just a thought though.... Don't X-rays cause cumulative damage to the human body? In other words, when you hop into the doctors office for that X-ray, they cover your child producing parts with a nice heavy apron of lead. I'm reasonably certain you don't get the same kind of coverage when you walk through the X-ray scanner or get bombarded by the ZBV's. Am I missing something with the application of X-rays here?

I feel like I'm headed towards a chapter in I, Robot with a touch of 1984.

You are right, X ray are cumulative damage to an extent.  I am in medical physics and I can attest to that.  This is becoming quite a bit like 1984.  For the most part, media doesn't report on news like this, and when they do it is only a footnote.  I go to this site called infowars.com they report on all kinds of stuff like this.

Here is another interesting article on the matter. Apparently, this "X-ray van" company will sell these vans to whoever will pay the price.
