Can anyone give feedback on I-Pac converter for PS3?

I've rewired my cab from a J-Pac to 2xU360s to an I-Pac for my PC. The I-Pac has phenomenal performance compared to the latter two Ultimarc products I've tried. In short, it's exactly what I've been looking for all this time. Pricey venture, but imo worth it :)

So, with that... I'm interested in venturing into hooking up a PS3 to my cabinet and was wondering if anyone had any experience with this PS3 adaptor:

http://www.ultimarc.com/psx.html

Main Questions:
1. Any increased input latency?
2. Stability? (Can you leave it on for weeks at a time without it freaking out?)
3. Accuracy? (Mash lots of inputs works alright? Keeps up like a champ?)
4. Any drawbacks I might be missing?
5. Would it work with a PS/2 splitter? (to split PC & PS3 adaptor)

A little background, I mainly have my cabinet on freeplay at work for co-workers to use on their breaks for fun. It's mainly used for fighting games since they're quick and multiplayer, this game genre requires pretty high controller input quality. I put up all maintenance and new additions out of my own pocket. All games installed I legitimately own (dedicated arcade PCB's & PC versions, whichever is installed... don't want the company liable).

I'm assuming at this point since my I-Pac's performance is rock solid that this adapter would work really well with the PS3, but I'd like to gauge anyone else who's used it based on the fact I've in the past jumped in financially without doing the research on input quality first... only to find it didn't have the performance I expected.

Can anyone help and give their experience? It would be very appreciated.

Thanks!

I'm interested in the PS3 adapter too, and I've heard from a couple of folks here that it's as solid as the IPAC itself.  However, I am currently waiting on an email from Andy regarding compatibility with the v3.50 System Update.  (The one that has killed "unlicensed" controllers.)

Actually, if anybody else can confirm that the adapter is compatible post-update, that'd be nice!  ;D

Good information in that thread. I have a slim also and would definitely not enjoy sticking keys of any sort.

WED, how's performance been on your slim with it? Can you answer  if it's possible to split the PS/2 cable? So you could have the PC + PS3 connected (just 1 in use though obviously).

Thanks,

Would a switch work? That's my tentative plan for use of my CP with a PC and PS3, but I'm only assuming it'd work-

ps/2 data switch

edit; my plan is actually to try a usb switch, but same idea-
