You should see the translucent ones with Nephrings!!!!

The Lono 2 has been discontinued.  We are currently working on some other options for replacement.  Some of our own and some options of bringing other companies products to the store.

Resistance values for the LED are 325 from red, and 275 for green and blue.

Craftymech has been nice enough to let us carry the Mini SLG

Excited that Paradise now carries the mini SLG! Now you can get everything on your shopping list in the same place :)

Armi,  I was told you had an optical joystick in the works comparable to happ's perfect 360

Happ Perfect 360's suck now big time. they all have led/diode alignment issues and even the moldings that allow diodes to pass the IR light are terrible. crap all made in china and quality control unbelievable bad.  no one buys happ perfect 360 anymore n plus they charge over $80 a pop.

us gamers don't mind the price but to pay that and get garbage is insanity! us gamers are waiting for someone to revive the optical american joystick. the japanese sticks has their flash, rollie, spark version.  we just need a good quality one for american sticks!

I know your a engineering genuis, and it'd be awesome if paradise arcade had their own patented optical version

Thanks Armi!

Ridiculous.  How much free crap did he promise you?

Hi Bryan,
I placed an order last week on 1 July but haven't heard any updates.  Yesterday I shot an email to sales@paradisearcadeshop.com requesting status but haven't gotten a response yet.  Are you guys backed up?  I was really hoping to get my stuff by this weekend but that's starting to sound unlikely.
Thanks!

Don't worry.  He'll offer you free stuff to edit out this post soon, then have his weak excuse responses deleted.

Hello. I placed an order the morning of 7/9 and the status has only said "payment accepted" since then. I wanted to check when it was going to ship or if it has already? I sent a couple emails through the website, but haven't heard anything yet. Thanks.

Thanks for the order, we were invited by Mad Catz to join them at Evo 2014 and were traveling.  We had posted an update on our Facebook and twitter profiles on order status, all orders should be out by tomorrow, as well as being caught up on all emails.  PM me your name and order number and I'll double check on it.

Bryan,

Any chance you'll be re-stocking the IL-lumination RGB 5VDC LED modules soon?

Are the IL-lumination RGB 5VDC LED gonna be in stock soon? I had one burn out on me, completely fried and I need a replacement. If you don't what is comparable, I need something. By the way you can't send a message from your site, it doesn't work.

Susan has been shipping same or next day for the last week, unless there is a stock issue.

We are upgrading to the new site shortly, but if you receive a paypal invoice, but no recorded order, email her so she knows to double check paypal.  Some transactions are not posting back to the store.

Hey Bryan,
I placed an order on 9/19 from your site but got an automated email yesterday that I had items waiting for me in my cart. No sure why since according to the status of my order "the payment was accepted".

Can you look into this. I also sent you an email with the order number and items I purchased.

Hoping the new site launches asap... On top of adding these parts:

You will also see the Nephrings available with new LEDs!

And a special present from Susan, she got IL to do a custom run of translucent convex buttons, these look amazing!

Finally, keep your eyes open for the results of this project!

I haven't been able to get a response to any queries, which is frustrating. I sent an email to info@paradisearcadeshop.com on January 21, then sent the same email via the website on January 28. It's January 30 - no response to either email. Both were asking a couple of simple questions before ordering - primarily about the website not displaying options for different weight microswitches and different LED options (12V vs 5V) for buttons. So in addition to not getting any responses, it's clear that the website is a mess, too.

That doesn't inspire any confidence that when I place an order, that it'll be shipped right away. Or at all, even!

I think I shall order elsewhere. I don't get any warm fuzzies here. Sorry, Bryan, but you can't run a business like that and expect people to just push through in an effort to give you an order.  :banghead:

@darkfall not sure where the info@paradisearcadeshop.com email is going, but it's not one we use, so I apologize but the email is probably in our spam folder or the nether realm.

The lights come with 12 Volt lights currently as stated in the product description.   We have temporarily removed the 5volt option from the product page as we are revamping how the lights are packaged.  In regards to the microswitches, it does appear that the microswitch option was not turned on with the new site upgrade.  I will make sure that's addressed tonight

I know Susan is 1-2 days behind on emails, she's working on the emails from the 28th, my fault as I turn 40 today and she's been trying to make this a memorable birthday.  If you have any questions feel free to post here and I would be happy to answer.

Good questions for here:
1. Will those silencer rings work with the buttons I have selected?
The silencer rings are for the Sanwa and Seimitsu buttons, they will not work with the IL or Paradise LED buttons.

2. These buttons have 12V LEDs. I have done some research and it appears that they'll light up at 5V at around 5 mA (according to a post from you guys on Arcade Controls' forum back in 2011, thus I should be ok driving 8 LEDs off of a USB port's power, by the sound of it. There was mention of 5V LED options, but I didn't see such an option on the site anywhere, nor do I know if the 5V LEDs would pose a greater amperage draw than the 12V LEDs driven at 5V. Advice?
The 5 volt option is not currently available on the site because we are working on bundling these in better packaging, that will possibly be only for 12 V.  The 5Volt leds are a super bright led, that draws around 30ma, so so 8 leds would be at 240ma, which may be fine  if that's all your driving.  if needed we can ammend your order, but these leds are about .75 more for each button.

3. Do these buttons come with the 20g switches? There was said to be an option, but I didn't see a drop down for one anywhere. I'd like to keep everything as quiet as possible, so I'm not making everyone in the house crazy while I bash away on the buttons in the living room *grin*. The plan is to order additional 20g switches for the joysticks (Ultimarc Mag-Stik Plus - I really want the 4/8 way switching from the top of the panel).
Yes, this option for some reason was turned off on the website after the upgrade, I will make sure it goes back on today, thank you for letting us know.

Sorry, it was the sales@paradisearcadeshop.com I had used (just checked my sent folder to confirm).

While the response via email never happened, you definitely responded quickly here, which I can live with.

2. These buttons have 12V LEDs. I have done some research and it appears that they'll light up at 5V at around 5 mA (according to a post from you guys on Arcade Controls' forum back in 2011, thus I should be ok driving 8 LEDs off of a USB port's power, by the sound of it. So I may be better off with the 12V LEDs and power them at 5V and get the lower current draw, then. That works.

3. Do these buttons come with the 20g switches? There was said to be an option, but I didn't see a drop down for one anywhere. I'd like to keep everything as quiet as possible, so I'm not making everyone in the house crazy while I bash away on the buttons in the living room *grin*. Awesome. As soon as it's back, I can place an order.

Saw the email sent through the store, but didn't see the original in first pass.  Turning on the microswitches now.

Order placed.  :)

Order received about 3 days later. Nice a quick! I also got a little baggie of Hawaii's version of a Hershey's Kiss, with macadamia nut bits in them - yummy. Thank you!

For those of you interested, I measured the current draw of the various button LED colors, and thought others might be interested. I've thrown in the draw of the Ultimarc MiniPac, as well, since I'll be using those in my project and it was easy to grab a reading. These are 12V LEDs, driven at 5V (they're plenty bright at 5V, if my opinion):

Red: 7.18mA
Blue: 4.97mA
Green: 5.42mA
Yellow: 4.79mA
Ultimarc MiniPac: 19.28mA

In my project, I plan to drive the LEDs off of the USB ports 5V supply, since I'm building stand-alone sticks for use in the living room on the TV (like a console, but with arcade controls, instead of a gamepad), and don't want to run separate power leads to each stick for the LEDs. Since I'll have 8 buttons (1 red, 2 blue, 2 green, 2 yellow, and 1 white) plus one MiniPac per stick, that amounts to a 61.61mA draw. That's well below USB's 500mA supply (not all USB ports put out 500mA, though - it is lower on some devices, such as some laptops - check your device's specifications! I'll be using a Raspberry Pi B+, which can deliver up to 600mA, and can be told to deliver up to 1.2mA via software, so no worries for me). Even still, pretty much anything will deliver 62mA for me with no effort at all, so it should be all good.

Placed my first order with Paradise Arcade Shop just now.  Switching over from HAPP sticks and buttons to Sanwa and Siemitsu on some custom builds.  Looking forward to receiving product!

Couple quick things that you (Paradise Arcade) may not be aware of.  I did email you a couple weeks ago asking questions about Japanese style sticks and buttons and never received a reply.  I'm thinking these emails may be getting lost as I've read this has happened in the past and it would be a shame if you were missing customer questions for some reason with emails getting lost or misdirected.  Secondly, FedEx EXPRESS shipping was showing up for FREE at checkout to Chicagoland area for me just now.  I'm thinking that may be an error as well since I use FedEx regularly and EXPRESS is normally overnight and quite expensive compared to Ground or Home delivery.  I selected USPS Priority.

I have run a small business for years and just wanted to say thanks for offering this product to us.  You guys do a great job and I will happily refer you to friends and clients after my order is received!  Thanks again.
Offering commercial grade vinyl decal printing for cabinet side art, control panel overlays, monitor bezels, marquees, etc.

Thank you for the feedback, I will have our Web site manager look into the shipping pricing and appreciate you letting us know.
We are working on a new ticket system for contacting the shop to make sure communication is efficient and not lost.  I hope this will fill the gaps in communication.  Let me know if you have any questions about the order when it arrives
