Cabinet Cleanup?
« on: June 22, 2002, 09:22:37 pm »
I was able to get my hands on a free cabinet.  ;D  It appears to have a lot of wear due to being outside. The particle board seems to have some swell damage. Is there a way to sand this down or something else? Is it a lost cause?  Thanks

You can sand down damage caused by swelling.  I got good results with a palm sander.

If the damage is bad you may want to reinforce the damaged area or replace the damaged section completly.
