3 screen software setup
Smeghead:
Im planning on using 3 screens off some kind of card capable of running all 3, probably that Nvidia that everyone uses.
My DMD screen and the background screens are going to be mounted upside down on my cabinet for ease of installation.
Can the software rotate each screen 180? I know my Intel cards software can do it, rotate each screen individually or not.
Dazz:
Why are you mounting your backglass and DMD upside down?
My experience with software rotation is that there is a performance hit. I'd just install them correctly and not have to worry about software rotation. Don't make things more complicated than they already are.
Smeghead:
Ive got my playfield as display 1 off my main card-1st DVI, DMD as display 4 off my main card-2nd DVI
Ive got my backglass as display 2 off my crappy PCI card
My backglass is showing up on 2 which is good but the DMD always goes to 2 and not 4 where I left it.
Can you tell Hyperpin to use 'tertiary' for backglass instead of secondary?
Why does the DMD always go to screen 2, i cant run it off that because its my crappy PCI that I only want the backglass running off
HanoiBoi:
I've got a related question. Some tables that I load show the DMD rotated 90 or 180 degrees. How can I rotate them so that they are properly displayed?
This is using VP9 with Hyperpin.
Dizzle:
I only have a 2 screen setup so I don't know much about the 3 screen setups, but regarding the rotation of the DMD: go into the script of the table and search for "rol = 1". If you change that to "rol = 0" the DMD won't rotate.
