I've never played Stargate but here's some useless stuff for you. Back when I was working in Richmond, BC, I made a crap load of the guns for the SG-1 TV show while working at a foam fabrication shop. Not start to finish, but the basic shape of them. I miss working at that place.

...got anything cool from that job?

Yeah it was a foam fabrication shop so I made everything from mattresses to movie props. I made some skulls for a Masters of Horror film, I made the brick wall that Juggernaut runs through in Xmen 3 [in the movie they used alot of CG as well as the foam of course]. The only wicked things I made for myself was actually my matress. It was a prototype for Serta, but would be too expensive to mass produce. So I just kept the prototype. 3 inches 5 pound memory foam, 3 inches 1.8 lb fire retardant foam. The fire retardant base has a 95 pound per square inch crush rating, so the mattress doesn't bend, but it is the comfiest mattress ever.
I also was living in a rental space at that time so my personal recording studio had a bunch of foam I cut... but I have since moved, sold all of that acoustic foam, and am nearing completion of my renovated studio that doesn't need foam.

I'd play that more if I had a yoke. But if I see it in the arcades I play it every time.
