| Secure plexi to control panel |

I've been doing lots of reading and learning of late. However one question came up after looking at many cpanels; how is the plexi secured if there are no screws? Is it the push buttons etc that keep it from moving around? Thanks! |
| TheMonk:
Admin: should I be posting this in another part of the forum? Surely there must be someone that can explain how the plexi is held in place but I suspect I may need to put this in the main forum. |

Many people use nothing more than the buttons to secure the plexiglass in place. It's a trade off between looks and authenticity, but most of the cabinet builders here don't usually have to worry about hoods trying to destroy their cabinets. |

Thanks! :D That's what I suspected when I viewed most but it's good to confirm. There is lots of hidden stuff beneath the artwork so you never know for sure. |

I have been wracking my brain trying to figure this one out myself, but didn't have the guts to ask. That makes so much sense!!! :banghead: --- Quote from: M.Lanza on September 03, 2010, 12:06:49 pm ---It's a trade off between looks and authenticity, but most of the cabinet builders here don't usually have to worry about hoods trying to destroy their cabinets. --- End quote --- LOL. "Hoods". That made me laugh out loud. |
