That's pretty awesome.  Like how you incorporated the cup holders.  How did u like the work done by north coast customs?  I am thinking about placing an order with them myself!

Love the CP by North Coast Customs, they did great work.

Yeah, I just plug it into my tv. I wanted to make it portable so I can bring it to parties and things.

I really like the idea of this, and you've done a lovely job with it.

I'm planning something similar in a candy cab style.  It gives you the freedom to upgrade or downgrade the size of your screen so to speak.  or tailor it to your needs.

While I'm more a fan of the jap style curved button layout, your cp does look slick!

The only thing I'm not keen on (sorry) is the front doors.  more precisely the handles. It looks a bit 'furniture' like, maybe that's the idea?

i'd go for a more flush look.  But all in all a fantastic job.

Well done!

yeah, I wasn't entirely sure what to do for doors and just ended up with that. It works for now, though I probably will change the handles at some point.

How sturdy is it standing on carpet?

Doors are doors at the end of the day, they work.  End of story.

It looks great and I'm sure you'll have endless fun!

Post some pics when its up and running on a screen

Oh it's up and running... looks like any other cabinet running Maximus Arcade though, so I didn't bother with pics of that. I'll probably do a video showing it off at some point.

it's very sturdy on carpet, it's on 4 decent size locking casters so that it's easy to move around.

the body of it is as deep as the cp, and it's almost as wide so it's pretty balanced weight-wise.

Hey there.  3 things.

1.  What steering wheel did you use here?
2.  Those guns are the ones listed on ultimarc right?  Aim-Track  I was thinking about picking some up.  What do you think about them?

1. It's a wheel that attaches to a turbotwist2 spinner. http://groovygamegear.com/webstore/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=86&products_id=268

2. Yes, they're Aimtraks. They are perfect. I have had no problems with them at any distance, they work great in MAME.

3. Thanks!
