You've already gone with a theme, but I think it'd be cute to have a machine called "Killscreen" and the side art be level 256 from PacMan.

You could probably find a "Matrix" screen saver, configure it to use a Namco-like font, and feed it various game screenshots as the reference for what it's drawing and have a rather unique attract mode/screensaver.

Waking this one up.

I'm redoing my cabinet.  I still like the name Insomnia.  I should keep it since it is my first.  But I might change it.  The thing is, I might change the marquee.

I want something more colorful.  Right now, I intend to do shades of the attached pic where hte pic is my future intended Mala layout.  The attachment is blue.  I'll also have red, green, etc.  One per emulator.

I was thinking of doing a gradient that matches the colorful nature of the layout.  And I was going to use the same image, just cropped to a small portion of it.  Thoughts?

Coming up with a name sucks. It's easy to over think. It needs to stick. I first came up with Encounter for mine. It was ok, I liked it but it just didn't completely stick.

I never worried about a name, but I used a Monster Arcade marquee (before they were way overused). A few years later, I started calling it that.

BTW, nothing good came from putting my name in the anagram engine. I now know that the letters of my name can spell anus. lol

I messed with that idea for a while but couldn't come up with a concept I liked.  It got a little too far off the arcade path.  I'd love to see someone pull off War Games and/or WOPR as a theme.

Thats not a bad name, but it brings up images of one of those huge tacky frankenpanels and your cabinet has more class than one of those.
