| Female quick disconnects vs. soldering microswitches |

i like soldering. very solid, and not permanent at all, just heat up the solder and move it somewhere else. that being said, i have never used quick disconnects. i already had all the soldering tools, and didnt feel the need to buy stuff for the disconnects. |

Quick disconnects FTW. Even if it just a simple task like replacing a broken button, it makes it soo much easier. |

I said a bit more permanent than quick disconnects (because once I've soldered something, I don't want to change it anymore). Depending on the control panel, de-soldering can be a PITA. |

I use QDs for microswitches (unless they are an odd size and I don't have a QD handy) and solder leafswitches. |
