| Ginsu Victim:
I bottom mount mine with standard shafts and have no problem with them. |

Yea mine was a longer story (no pun intended) - my CP was fairly thick when the plexi was incorporated. In addition I had some Sanwa JLF's on P3/P4 that had shafts with different lengths and I wanted them to all be the same. I ended up bottom mounting them after routing a mount plate hole that was recessed a 1/4" or so and offset the JLF's with a different depth so that from the top, all 4 sticks are the same height...and you'd only know that P3/P4 aren't U360's by hearing/feeling the clicking of the microswitch. |

Maybe I'll grab the longer shafts also. That way if I use hte restrictor plate, I get a little bit more movement. I'm surface mounting BTW, but there is still a recess and plexy on top. |

Just this guy's opinion - but dont' get long shafts, especially if you're top mounting. Mine are mostly undermounted and STILL have lots of shaft. Long shafts on a top mount will look like you're operating a tank! |

Yeah, just use standard on a top mount. |
