Tower Of Power - Jukebox Project Complete
« on: November 24, 2008, 10:38:35 am »
Just about finished my second jukebox, inspired by Knievels infamous 'Metal Station'. It's currently at the painters being done in 2 pak gloss black. Some features include;

2 x 12" Subwoofers
2 x 6.5" Mid Range Speakers
2 x 1" Tweeters
22" LCD Widescreen Display
Industrial Grade Illuminated Trackball

I will make a complete list once the jukebox is up and running including amps, pc components etc. I also have CAD plans almost completed if anyone is interested in building one.

Now to the good stuff...pics;

If only you could've found a way to put more speakers in it...

 ;)

Looking good. I'll be interested to see how the paint job looks.

Thanks!

I am curious how it sounds too as I think there is way too much bass power compared to the mids/highs. I listen to alot of metal/rock. I'm sure it will sound great for rap/r'n b. I can always adjust the bass however.

Also looking foward to the paint job as it is costing me $500 (AUS). The last jukebox I made was finished in pressure packs and looked terrible.

Here is a pic testing the subs with some car speakers and home theatre speakers, the bass rattled the house...

BASS!

Incredible work and design.

I for one would love to see your plans if you post them.

Look forward to watching the rest of your progress.

Winamp's motto comes to mind.

It really whips the llama's...

Great job! I'm looking forward to see how you drive this beast and more importantly how you interface it all to your PC.  :applaud:
