onboard videocard is enough for mame if you need for other emulators,then buy an extra pci-express card,but a cheap one |

It might be just me, but isn't processor speed more important than dual core with emulation? I'd assume that a single 4 GHz CPU will outperform a dual core 3 GHz setup with regards to emulation. Reasoning being, I don't think many games (until more recent) have been made for multiple processor systems. Or are the emulators actually written as multithreaded programs? |
