I think this situation is more of a grey area, compared to downloading roms which you really shouldn't be doing if you don't presently own the source material.
And lets face it, this is a massive part of what the entire community is based around.

Anyhow, why would I send another $25 to MameSeer, if he never responds with a new keycode? Hell, he ain't responding to anyone at all for anything. So, the way I look at it, if I don't get a response say, in a week, I'm looking to get a hacked copy going. I really love MA, always have... and I did pay for it back in 2005 or so.. But, since I moved a couple times, and things can get "lost", plus my HDD actually clicking/failing, I'm screwed. I had a great setup too! :hissy:
I'm still looking around my old Emails and paperwork, so if I can find it, I will obviously use my own and NOT get a hacked copy of MA. I did, in fact find my original keycode, before MameSeer changed them to the new style. I sent this to his Email already. No response at all.
