Pac-Man version question
jspicher:
Hello guys,
Tonight l purchased a 1980 pacman cabaret from a fellow here in town. I'd posted about the machine previously here's a shot of it for S&G's.

Needs a little TLC but all in all not a bad looking machine.
Now here's the thing; when l fired it up and tried to run a pattern l was surprised to find out that they didn't work lol.
Right when a game starts 3 of the 4 monsters immediately leave the ghost house, and behaviors are quite different.
Is there anything l can do revert this back to the original version of pacman where the standard pacman patterns rein supreme? I guess l could purchase a new PCB if necessary but l'd like to know if there's anything that can be done with the PCB l've got here. Here's a video of a game starting up if that helps ID what version l've got here:

First post a pic of the pcb so we know it isn't a bootleg.
Second, yes, you can replace the roms on the board if the are indeed a different version.
jspicher:
Okay l'll post a pic of it as soon as l get a chance. I plan on gutting the maching and giving it a good cleaning this weekend so l'll update it when l have the photos! Thanks for your help.

The PCB *does* say midway manufacturing co and says pacman.
jspicher:
Also an update, the PCB says: Midway Manufacturing Co. PAC-MAN A082-91375-B000
in the middle of the board if that helps identify the version.
Thanks,
