FM Towns / Marty in Maximus Arcade Tutorial
« on: August 16, 2010, 01:20:11 pm »
From the old forum originally posted by M37R01D

Well I've been playing around with UNZ which is a FM Towns / Marty emulator.
The emulator is deff pretty solid and runs just about everything I tried on it.
Next was trying to get it to work in Maximus.
Basicly the emulator needs the image file to be mounted with deamon tools to boot up.
To achieve this I used the Chankast_launch files and modified the .ini a bit to route to UNZ.exe
Then I cleaned the settings in MA for dreamcast, and set the launch exe to Chankast_launch, set my rom directory, and changed the file type to search for .img files.

Only problems I've ran into so far is getting it to open in fullscreen, but I havent played with that much as its prob a simple command. (F11 after launch goes fullscreen)................  so after playing a bit it seems -fs is fullscreen, now just to figure out how to automate it in the launch,

And I have to take out Dreamcast becuase I can't have 2 Dreamcast sections

INI posted below

you can grab the emulator here

you can also grab chankast wrapper here

Hopefully this system can be added into the emulator list, as really its basicly like DC/Chankast was setup

Code: [Select]
Exe=C:\Program Files\DAEMON Tools\daemon.exe
