Star Wars DE Death Star Part Wanted
« on: August 02, 2010, 10:58:34 am »
I just purchased a SW DE in great shape but last night I broke a black plastic piece that is just behind the yellow death star target.  It looks like a plastic plate of some kind.  I tried playing the game without it but the ball tends to end up nestled between the top of the recessed yellow drop target and the edge of the under playfield habitrail.

From the manual I'm guessing its part number 545-5350-00 Target Back Plate.  I've looked at Pinball Life, Marco, Bay Area Amusements with no luck....any other suppliers out there that may have this?

*********EDIT:  NVM, I found it.

Sure....Marco had it.  My dumbass didnt search by part number originally.  I was searching using keywords like "death star" and "star wars".

Hard to argue your point.  Searching by part number should have been the first thought in my mind.  I guess I've never really searched for any specific part before since I've always just purchased more generic parts  :dunno

The real show begins once I actually start the process of replacing it.  $20 says I screw up something else in the process.  I really am the least mechanically inclined person I...and probably you...know.

I sure would've liked to play that thing before you effed it up.
You probably remember me from such films as `The Revenge of Abe Lincoln' and `The Wackiest Covered Wagon in the West'
