Four Weeks and Counting!
protokatie:
No, sorry, this isnt about a sneak peek of the next Street Fighter game, "Street Fighter V : Chun Li and Cammy Get It On".
The 4 weeks is the number of weeks I have gone since my last cigarette! Woot! I guess it is kinda a milestone.
Anyways, I bet you are all going to go back to fantasizing about Chun Li and Cammy now..
Franco B:
Well done! A month is quite a mile stone indeed. :applaud:
How are you finding it? Are you using patches or anything or just going cold turkey?
Are you finding the cravings are subsiding yet? The more time goes on the less and less you will think about them.
I'm nearly 8 months quit now and don't get cravings or really think about them at all. The only time I do is if I am standing next to someone smoking and it sometimes smells nice. I knew if I did have one it would be discusting though!
Keep it up though, its one of the best things you can do to improve your life. :)
patrickl:
Yeah, keep it up. Don't get distracted and go back.
I have several friends who stopped and then started smoking again after half a year. Never understood that. You go through all trouble and then all of a sudden start smoking again.
drventure:
Congrats!
And just think of the money you're not spending anymore on cigs that you can spend on cabs ;)
protokatie:
Thanx guys. I have quit in the past, and it was hard. This time, for some odd reason it was nowhere near as difficult as it had been in the past. From what I can tell I am past the worst of it, and am simply lookg toward the future. On a side note: I hav also cut way back on the beer too, so even more money to save up ;)
