I can't wait for the new TV series in October. Easily my favorite comic series.

Edit:

Official trailer now out at http://www.amctv.com

US debut Sunday, Oct 31st at 10/9c.

First episode will run 90 mins. The remaining five episodes will one hour each.

A 13 episode second season has already been planned.

(PSA: Looks like they disabled hot-linking on those photos, but they work when I open them in a new window)

From the first photo it really looks like they put some effort into keeping the live action players in the (visual) spirit of the comic characters -- great to see that.

Speaking of which... how do you think they'll handle the... uh... (trying not to write anything even remotely spoiler-ish, but I'm not sure I'll succeed so here it is in small font)... bandaged stump that you-know-who has... assuming they keep that part of the story...

Thanks for sharing! Going to save this for after work...

Ginsu Victim:
AMC is allowing them to go full gore, and language is allowed except for F and C, pretty much.

KNB is doing the effects work and it looks like they are doing their best work yet.

As for the thing you mentioned in very small writing, Kirkman has always regretted doing that to him and it probably won't happen this time around.

Totally different thing. A Scanner Darkly is rotoscoped. The motion comic took the original drawings and animated them.

the best part is the pop up for a screen saver then the hotwire commercial I have to watch before every video.
