DS game selection issue (solved)

I set up DS and it was working fine, but now no matter what game I select it runs Mario 64 DS. Any idea why?

update 1:
was doing the same thing outside of MA...

update 2:
something created 2 files: nds.nds and no$gbaxx and put them in the roms directory. I deleted those files and things are working fine.
