Arcade Game Project #2
NeoFlynn:
I am impressed by that marquee, also love the orange paint job, i love anytime someone does anything outside of the usual black
btw IG-88 do you have a full size pick of that bartop Huskers cab, as a die hard Husker fan i would love to see it, I am actually thinking of going with a Huskers theme for my cab

Regarding paint, could you tell us what specific paint color that is along with the maker? Like Behr Halloween Orange or something like that? High gloss?
Also, with your method of construction. I see all the metal brackets. Knowing MDF, isn't that a bit delecate? I would think that screws would rip out of MDF easily. Is it also glued?
I am going to eventually do a scratchbuild but fear the weight of a cabinet. What is an MDF constructed cabinet like that going to weight when completed?
Also, how deep is that cabinet? I am hoping to do something under 2 feet deep and that looks close.

Will check the paint color tonight.
Only brackets with screws. The tv is quite heavy and I don't trust just glue to hold it together. The whole cabinet is very solid, so hopefully I won't have any issues with the screws coming out.
Not sure about the depth of the cabinet, will also check tonight. It's not very deep though, the tv is a ultra-slimfit.
RVZ:
Artwork and perspex added to the control panel, and fitted joysticks and buttons.
The artwork is the POW from Metal Slug. :)
IG-88:
Thats an old pic. I've redone the CP since. It's small so you can't see the details ;D
If I get some time I"ll get a better shot of it.
