T-Molding "Gap" fix?
(1/2) > >>
dawolv:
I was putting on my T-Mold on one side before calling it a night tonight and noticed that right where the speaker/monitor corner is, there is a gap in the T-Molding Slot that is just a little too wide for the t-molding's "teeth" to grip into.
So from the speaker area to the CP none of the t-molding will sit tight.
For now I put some Tight Bond on the spine of the T-Mold and clamped it down into the slot, never tried using Tight Bond with Plastic to Wood and too late to grab some epoxy.

Has anyone else ran into this and have a better way to get a tight fit?
Hurray Banana:
For a non-permanent solution you might be able to pack part of the groove with cardboard/paper to make it tight where it needs it.
CheffoJeffo:
Happens all the time when restoring cabs.

Hot glue.

I just fixed the same problem the other day in mine.

I simply used Elmer's glue and a clamp to hold it until it dried.  Works like a champ.

I used hot glue on mine too.  Worked likea  champ.  Just don't add too much or it oozes out the sides of the modling.
