Silas (son of Silas):
It's 6.24am, I have been up since half five because the pain in my hands is stopping me sleeping yet again. Jeez I'm fed up with arthritis.

I haven't been able to work on my cab for weeks, I'm not sleeping, I'm grouchy and work feels like it is killing me.

Makes me wonder why I am build a bloody arcade machine anyway? It's not as if I could play it with my hands the way they are at the moment.

An one fingered typing sucks

So after a quick google of the word Perocet gave me "Percocet is Endo Pharmaceuticals' North American brand name for oxycodone/acetaminophen blend tablets." So reverse engineering the American word Acetaminophen to the British word Paracetamol, then the word Oxycodone to "..an opioid analgesic  medication synthesized from opium-derived thebaine. ..developed in an attempt to improve on the existing opiates and opioids: morphine, diacetylmorphine (heroin), and codeine."

The short answer to your question is no, not exactly.

But I am using Codipar, which is a Paracetamol and Codeine blend which in pharmaceutical terms seems to be be very similar to the drug you mentioned given that oxycodone is a semi-synthetic opoid replacement for codeine.

I take Codipar in conjunction with Diclofenac, but to be honest it just ain't cutting it for me. At best all it does is keep the throbbing under control just long enough to get some sleep each night. I know that I just have to sit out this episode until it passes. Trouble is they can last months.

Is Perocet good? I'll talk to my Rheumatologist about it at my next appointment.

Malenko:
post knee surgery I got a prescription, and it worked wonders. My dentist offered me more post root canal and later on an extraction but I passed. There is a risk of dependency, but the drug does its job if used properly.

ahofle:
I used it after my knee surgery too, but it started making me nauseous so I had to stop.  Ended up screwing up my stomach with 800mg ibuprofen instead.  :badmood:
