Not sure if it is still there but there was "Playland" a retro-arcade on the Santa Monica pier.

It's been there since I was a kid and even then I never wanted to go in because I thought it was creepy. Not sure if it's still open, but it was a year or two ago... BEWARE!

Yah downtown LA can be fairly scary in places; not a place you want to get lost in that is for sure.
