So is it easy to pull the wires out of the plastic part on the harness and rearrange them?  I guess I would simply snip the wires and butt connect them?

Franco B:

You could always go the easy route and get a [Jamma>MVS Adapter]

Wow.  They don't miss anything do they?  I guess if there's an opportunity to make money someone will make it.

Hummm, for a total of $30 I guess I'll rewire it myself or put one of my students to work on it...

Thanks

True.

--- Quote ---He then said that all you have to do is rotate a plug on the back of the monitor to switch it 90 or 270 degrees (not sure which way) for vertical!!  From there I plan to bypass the MVS and plug a 60 in 1 multi into the jamma harness.  Sound logical?

THis part is not true. There's no such switch (unless the Neo Geo system does both Vert and Horizontal games, but I don't think there are any). The monitors have no switch.

All you do is plug in the 60-n-1 and it will already output correctly.

Actually he didn't really say it was a switch more like a plug with wires on it you can rotate.

So what you are saying is...no need to mess with anything on the back of the monitor.  Just rotate the bezel and monitor and I'm good to go.

Man this should be easy.
