Oy vey! LOL  Thanks for the kind words, but unless you're a chick, we've got a problem with the baby part.  :D

Good luck in your cabinet search.

Thanks.  Ok now back to business.

So, I have decided to purchase the neo geo machine pictured above.  Even though the monitor is horizontal.  I talked to this videogame repair dude...he's been in business for over 20 years.  He mentioned that I could pretty easily flip the whole bezel with monitor still attached and then screw it back down.  The bezel looks square shaped enough.  If not I'll make a new one.  He then said that all you have to do is rotate a plug on the back of the monitor to switch it 90 or 270 degrees (not sure which way) for vertical!!  From there I plan to bypass the MVS and plug a 60 in 1 multi into the jamma harness.  Sound logical?  Does anyone think this will work?

Actually this is for my 7th grade math classroom (trust me, my skin is plenty thick...parents).  We have a program called PBS where kids earn tickets for prizes for good behavior.  I was thinking kids could use their tickets for game play on the neogeo/multicade in my room....word

Should work but you have to make a few adjustments to your wiring harness.   The neo geo connector is jamma but slightly different.  Here is a link to the connector showing the differences.  Jamma with NG
