Jamma Cabinet Question
skyblast:
So lately I've really been interested in getting a neo geo cabinet because it uses jamma. I am interested in the ability to play other jamma games and maybe even installing a 60 in 1.
So I've also been told that number of non geo machines are JAMMA...like Ikari Warriors for example...or is that a neo game?
If I am looking for a Jamma harness which machines might I be looking for. Is there a list somewhere?
Thanks
BobA:
Ikari warriors is an Tradewest game. That said Ikari Warriors is not a neo geo game.
You can get a list of neo geo games HERE
Ikari warriors catagorized as an SNK class and is probably jamma compatible as SNK did do the Neo Geo games.
You can always check if the game you are looking at is a JAMMA one by checking KLOV HERE

Thank you very much. Good ideas.
So are basically all games after 1985 Jamma? One would be able to buy a 60 in 1 and plug right into one of these?....If it has a Jamma harness?
BobA:
Correction to above. Ikari Warriors came as both regular Jamma and SNK which is apparently slightly different.
BobA:
A 60 in one plugs into the jamma harness but make sure the game you are getting is vertical as I think that is what the 60 in one expects.
