What type of wood for control panel
« on: June 08, 2010, 02:35:10 pm »
Hi there,

I've just aquired a small empty arcade cabinet which is missing the control panel unit. I was wondering what is the best type of wood to get? How thick should it be?

Thanks,

Caroline

Depends on the depth of the area that you are trying to place the CP in.   3/4 inch MDF or Plywood work very well if the CP you are replacing was wood.   If it was metal then that is another story.
