IG-88:

You're not laminating the insides too are you? I assume not. Hows that material take paint? It looks a little porous in some of your pics.

I had thought about laminating the inside - just at the edges, where it would show - but I decided that I had enough to worry about on the build. If I do another cabinet in the future, I will seriously consider laminating all parts that show.

This material takes paint very well - one liberal coat seems to be covering it fine. Any problems that you see in the pics are probably due to my lack of photography skills, not the coverage of the paint...

I've been thinking about your question - if I plan the rest of the laminating carefully, I might have enough laminate left to do the insides of the upper part of the cabinet. It'd make sense to do this, since the upper part will be at eye level. I'll try to get everything laid out in the day or two and see what happens...
