I usually see those sell for $1000-$1500. Please don't MAME it if it's working... --- End quote --- at an auction here last weekend, 3 sold for under $150/each --- End quote --- you kidding? you must be thinking "under 1500/each" LOL this is one of the best slay em all adventure game ever made to arcade, and is very hard to play in MAME or other emulators. They generally retail in the thousand vascinity, at least any I heard of, at this price I wouldn't have asked very long and would have taken it. --- End quote --- You must be in some other part of the country. I see them go for $400 - $500 like the one in the auction around here. And they come up fairly regularly... --- End quote --- Yeah, but that's still far from "under 150$" The general price I'd think for one is "somewhere around 750$" - but I am in Canada. At 150, its a steal IMHO, particularly if its working. |

Hmm I bought an elo 15" touch screen because I figured I could find a way to work it into the cab I'll eventually be building .. if I had a cab like this, then I could just put the extra screen on top where the marquee goes. But then... it's useless as a touch screen =/ |

Arcade collecting is past it's peak. Look at the number of messages here compared to a few years ago. The number of buyers willing to drop 1k for a game is much lower now. There has been a Star Wars in new york on buy it now for $800 the past 30 days with no takers, this game would have feteched over $1000 two years ago. This game is reasonably priced and just because someone saw two go for $150 at an auction does not mean that is a standard price, they just got lucky nobody who wanted the game was present at that auction. I know a guy who bought a MM in excellent condition for $2000 last year, much lower than the 'normal' market price, sometimes you get lucky. I see in the pics there are some monitor adjustments needed but otherwise the game looks nice, will let you know when I pick it up next saturday, thanks for the heads up burgerkingdiamond. |

I know auction pricing isnt street price, but in any market $1000+ for one is too damn much |

Yeah, we're talking what these usually go for, not some crazy auction where one was practically given away. The $1000-$1500 rate is for working machines. The game is fun, has 4 players, is newer, and has one of the most unique cabs out there. And I'm sure there are areas where they go for less. That's nice, but that's not typical. It's all about supply and demand... |
