Well... I would imagine their insurance would cover any further damage to the vehicle if the tow..er... bike crashed.

I don't see the point. They show the bike needling through traffic  to rescue a broken down car obstructing traffic, but when its time to actually hook it up the traffic jam has mysteriously become a vacant parking lot.

Gold Wings do have ABS and linked braking (front and back are applied simultaneously whether you use the foot pedal or the hand lever), but that is one hell of a small rubber contact patch to be slowing down a 1000 pound bike, 500 pound towing apparatus and 4000 pound car.

First, obviously the video is staged to show the possibilities. It's really not hard to imagine how useful it could be. Secondly, it would be amazing if it didn't have brakes. We used to fit electric assisted brakes to trailers. From memory they had a sensor so that when you start slowing down, the brakes would apply. That was 20 years ago!
