Shall we call it Xiaouing? We really should verbify his name. It's so cool 'cause it has 5 vowels in succession!

Airsofting? Clubing? Hot tubin?
:dunno
Is it truly that difficult to say "We're playing airsoft" or "Let's get naked and get in the hot tub?"
--- End quote ---
Like golfing, fishing, boating?
Ya gotta have some room in your usage for slang in informal speech or you will come off as totally insufferable. I mean, are you saying that converting a noun into a verb in informal speech is something up with which you will not put? You see . . . sometimes the right way of saying something just isn't the right way of saying it.
--- End quote ---
Those are verbs. I'm not saying slang isn't acceptable either. Simply asked when this became the norm to do.
--- Quote from: Malenko on June 02, 2010, 04:26:47 pm ---Is hot tubing anything like hot tubbing? And isnt that the right way to say it? I thought adding ing to a noun worked almost all the time, I mean other then dropping the Y and andding ing, heh.
this is a post, I am posting. You are a ---meecrob---, you are douching. You are Xiaou, you are death punching.
am I right?
--- End quote ---
Tubbing/tubing, meh.
I agree with Hypernova. 5 vowels in a row!

Next time ask her if she wants to see the gun show!
Smoker:
So she doesnt want to play a game where people dress up and run around the woods pretending to shoot each other, with equipment meant to be less "ouchy" ?
and you REALLY want our opinion of why she doesnt want to play?
