I-Pac 2 PS2 or USB Cable Any Performance Difference?

Is there any advantage of using USB over PS2?

Thanks in advance.
Zebidee:
Usually less problems when you use PS2 as it is a simpler and more robust standard than USB (e.g. PC BIOSes recognise PS2 automatically, quickly & easily) , but it depends upon the PC really.

I'm pretty sure you can get usb to have a higher polling rate than ps2.  It isn't by default, but you can change it with a util.
kronic24601:
Polling rate shouldn't matter with an ipac. (feel free to correct me if wrong).

In my experience (as I have used both with my ipac) the only difference is USB is plug and play, and PS2 is not. Meaning, if you unplug, or try to plug in the PS2 for the Ipac while the system is on, you will have to reboot.

This is the only difference I have found (albeit there may be some micro unnoticeable other effect I am unaware of).

Personally I use the PS2 so it leaves more USB slots for other items ...

Who makes a mobo with PS2 anyway today?
