Gap between control panel and glass?

I am not sure if it's the same thing as a "rubber carpet transition strip" but I used a black "rubber base board", or black "rubber base moulding".   I don't have a picture of my own, but it's something like this:

I'm sure they have all different kinds.  Mine is curved in just the right ways.  I've attached a (poorly illustrated) picture of what the curve is like.  The curves are exaggerated to make a point about what it does.   It curves and covers the gap and is flush with the CP, and then it curves towards the monitor and is flush with the glass.

You can find base board or moulding stuff like this at any hardware store that works with flooring.  And it's usually cheap too.

Just another option I guess.
