Hi guys. What do you use to cover the gap between the control panel and monitor glass? I have seen a part that looks like it might be angle iron or something.

 What do you use? Thanks

I am not at that point in my build yet but I am going to either use a piece of aluminum (painted flat black) angle iron or a piece of molding with dowels drilled into it so you can lift it off to get into the monitor from the front.

I wonder if your talking about a "Z" bracket?

I thought about angle iron but im not sure of it will work. I need to get the new plexiglass in first to check out how big the gap will be.

It dosent seem to be a z bracket.

I was also wondering what I would use on my next upcoming build to cover the gap. Angle iron or some kind of metal molding would look alright but I can just picture someone closing the CP with force(mine is hinged at the front) and it just smacking the plexi since its so hard. Is there not some sort of rubber gasket that you could attach to the end of the cp that would push up against the plexi and create a seal? Almost like weather stripping or something, think of the gasket between a car door and the window.

Just a thought.
