Velcro is great & will be plenty strong to hold your panel in place. There might be difficulty in removing your Velcroed-on panel, however, depending on how you set things up. Velcro is difficult to pull apart when you're pull the 2 halves straight apart from each other (in a direction normal to the plane of the Velcro). Velcro comes apart very easily when you peel it (like Velcro sneaker "laces"). If you can remove your panel by a sort of tilting/rolling motion, you'll have better luck. But, just go ahead & try it & find out--it's easy to test it out! Good luck--sounds like a great idea. -Jason |

Do it says this old timer. If you dont like the results it was less destructive then mounting clamps and such. |

Velcro works just fine. To assist you in remove a velcro'd CP...use a credit card to slide between the layers and detach, works quick that way. |

Just wanted to say thanks to all who responded. Definitely gonna try some different set ups with it to see which works best. |

Velcro works very well for mounting a cp. I'm building a modular panel like Doc's, but didn't want the hassel of aligning dowl pins and holes. I went into it thinking it might not work, but all the panels hold securely. Just make sure you prime/paint the MDF where the Velcro will stick to. |
