I always notice people playing DMD era pinball machines in TV shows/Movies that mysteriously have the electromechanical "ding ding ding" sound effects :lol |

I've heard a lot of sounds from Doom on the PC. Mainly the sound of the monsters dying and getting hit and stuff. Also the sound of the rocket launcher. I'm guessing that ID software used some royalty free sound effects for their game. |

I cant recall but I have heard the ahofle arcade track --BINGO! Either that, or I was attempting to say "before" but it was too many letters to type-- in mainstream use. be it the radio or tv it was one of them. Pointed it out and my wife still thinks im a big Nerd ;) :blah: |

I can't say I've ever heard Robotron in tv or movie sound effects. It's always Donkey Kong and Atari 2600 Pac Man. Which is really weird, because often they are showing someone playing something modern like a Playstation 2 or Xbox, and yet the effects are 80's bleeps and bloops. |
