Hi all, Has anyone else noticed that when generic video game noise is required in films and on TV they usually use the FX from Robotron? I thought that this was purely a British phenomenon but I have heard Robotron on a few U.S. shows too. More importantly is :notworthy: Mr Jarvis receiving any royalties? |

In the US, I've noticed the use of the 2600 Pac-man sounds the most. |

I hear Centipede sounds a lot. |

Not exactly the same thing, but I used to hear the 'nurse pages' from Queensryche's Operation Mindcrime in TV shows all the time. I'm guessing they were stock from somewhere else and not owned by Queensryche. Hope that's not too off topic.... |

"Dr Blair, telephone please, Dr Blair......Dr Hamilton, Dr Jay Hamilton" or something like that. I always made the Mindcrime connection too. ;D |
