N-Gage.
Come on. you cannot compared the early cellphone/console combo with the virtual boy.
The N-Gage had some good titles, was playable. the only downside was the cost, and the low-ergonomics of the phone capability. The 2nd version was already a bit better.
Have you ever played the real Virtual Boy?
After about half an hour on Virtual Tennis, I still could not return the ball. The whole machine was not that great, the graphics was even worst the that old monochrome gameboy, and it had no titles.
I played NES emulation on my N-Gage, you could play 2-player contra with 2 wirelessly linked N-Gage. That was awesome. Try that on the virtual boy!
The V-boy is more of a collectible then a successfull videogame console. Apparently people in the virtual 3D hobby like the machine itself, but its gameplay sucked big time, I think due to limited capability.
I might be wrong. I never studied the V-boy hardware.
