Any notable N64 games worth playin... |

Lilwolf:
Why would you play the n64 port when the orininal arcade works great in mame? Does it have more features? I still want to hack an analog flight stick with a ball top or something for consoles. But I'm not sure if it will really work with the other buttons. Anyone with an analog flight stick ever try getting buttons setup so that you can play console games well? |

is there a compatibility list for pj64 and UltraHLE? i'd like to see what games are going to be transferred to my cab |
Howard_Casto:
Here is the problem with virtually every game mentioned so far. #1. Most use the analog stick (even if it isn't required), which means forget about playing them properly. #2. Those that are cab friendly either have emulation issues (mk4, mkt). #3. Or are available in a better format. (mk4 has a pc version, and as lilwolf said, there is a perfect arcade version of rampage wt in mame.) So answering your question.... Yes there are several n64 games worth playing. But literally none of the ones mentioned so far are suitable on a mame cab. Every single one mentioned falls into one or all of the three issues I listed above. So if you want to play these games I suggest that you whip out a n64 and play them. N64 emulation is sketchy at best, and even if it weren't, an arcade panel isn't well suited to play them with. |

Even Mario Kart? :'( |

If you're using a real N64 you could try hacking an Interact Arcade Shark joystick, the center joystick is analog. |
