| Larrabee:
So I have made some major changes to my cabinet in prep for a 1xxx-in-1 jamma coming tomorrow: http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php?topic=102623.0 I also ordered the two stick/40 button package from Xarcade to redo the control panel. Here is what it looks like now: I did a search and didn't find anything that fits this cabinet. Are there any guides, or do you have any ideas on how to go about replacing the control panel? And: * What kind of plexi to get * Putting artwork under the panel * How to guide to making a replacement control panel for a williams cabinet? * Do I make it wider like others I have seen so the space isn't so cramped and I can make room for additional controls like a trackball Thanks for your help and your opinions on this one. |

You bought Xarcade parts to redo a cp? Happ parts are better and they must be cheaper if ordered through one of the kind vendors on this site. Those 1xxx-in-1 boards are kinda taboo since they violate mame licensing terms. If you're using one of those, I wouldn't link to places to buy them etc. As for bulding a CP, there are literally hundreds of examples on this site. It's time to read/learn/build!! |

just measure what size boards you need, goto lowes and tell them, they will cut it all for you. let me know how that 2n40 deal works i was looking at it before and decided not to get it. what you going to do with your old sticks? looking to sell them? |

OK, I have searched for an hour on the forum and still don't know where to start when it comes to drilling the holes and opinions on what I should do for my specific cabinet. :banghead: I also couldn't find the F.A.Q. on wiring. Can I at least ask for peoples opinions on what you would do for my machine? The Happ buttons and sticks come today so I would love to work on it tomorrow. Thanks! |

It looks like ArcadeShop sells blank replacement CPs for your cab (it's a Robotron cab right?). Have a look. http://www.arcadeshop.com/parts.htm#Panels |
